The Emacs book is almost a dictionary format, so audio would be an impractical way to learn it. I’m having to stare at things for awhile and then jump around a lot, which an audio format would be bad at. But thanks for offering to help. As for PDFs, thanks but no, because I find it easier on the eyes to read paper, plus there’s more sensation of progress. A computer file weighs nothing and can seem to scroll forever. A paper book has weight and you can see “I’m about an inch through this 3-inch thick book”. When I finish the book, it’s way more satisfying to know I finished reading a tangible object than some computer file. It’s a quirk of human perception.
